Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has been named in the list of judges for this year's competition at one of the most influential Cannes Film Festivals in the world. The list of judges was published on the festival's official website on Tuesday (April 26) night.
According to festival authorities, Vicente Lyndon, the star of the movie 'Titan' and 'Fire', will be in charge of the trial. Through this, a decade later, a French ear-judge became the president of Lee.
The nine-member panel includes four women and five men, including the president. They will select the best movie from the 21 films of the competition section of this year's event.

According to the festival organizers, the first full-length movie 'Marcel!' Directed by Jazmin Trinka has been selected in the special screening category.
The 65th Cannes Festival will start on May 16. Vincent Lindon will announce the winner of the gold medal at the closing ceremony of Cannes on May 26. The show will be broadcast live on France Television and Brute.
